What I’m Doing for NaBloPoMo

I’m being pretty ambitious this year with NaBloPoMo or maybe crazy is the more accurate term. This year I’m doing all of my blogs. All four of them. As I type this my anxiety dial has just gone up to 10. But at the same time I’m pretty calm. I have the posts done for three out of the four blogs, so all I have left to do is schedule them to post. The only one that’s not finished is my short story blog. Working on it.

Here’s the run down of what I’m doing on each. I would love it if you stopped by from time-to-time and let me know your thoughts.

20/20 Hines Sight — 30 Reasons to be Happy / Thankful

A Short A Day — 30 short stories that are 30 words long. It’s called: 30 Days / 30 Stories / 30 Words

Forbidden Books — 30 banned/challenged books I want to read

The Broken Spine — 30 books on my TBR List

Whew! That’s a lot.

NaBloPoMo Love Link Up

On Saturday, November 1st NaBloPoMo starts and I’m going to take part. Actually, I’m being super ambitious and doing it across all of my blogs. I already have my posts written for two of the four and currently finishing the other two. I’m determined I’m going to make it through it this year.

If you’re not familiar what NaBloPoMo is Michelle W., an editor at WordPress, has written a post about it called The NaMos are Coming! The NaMos are Coming! But the gist is you write 30 posts every day during the month of November. You may be thinking, “I already write everyday, so why should I participate?”

One word:
Community

It’s a great opportunity to build on your blogging community. Make connections that maybe you never would have made before. Read blogs you may not have considered before. Even though I didn’t finish it last year, I found myself making connections I never expected, and I really discovered how interconnected the blogging world really is. It really is Six Degrees of Separation.

So, yes I invite you to participate in NaBloPoMo, but if you’re interested in writing 30 posts in 30 days stop by and give us some love anyway.

I’m creating a NaBloPoMo Love Link Up and if you’d like to get a little more NaBloPoMo Love click on the bug eyed frog below and, then Grab the Badge in the sidebar and put in your posts to let others know you’re sharing the NaBloPoMo Love.

If you’re not participating in NaBloPoMo feel free to stop by the Link Up and give us some love and encouragement.

One rule:

Please visit at least two blogs a day and leave an encouraging word
