If We Were Having Coffee. . .

I’d tell you that my Starbucks-dar is broken. A new Starbucks opened up across the street from my office building and I didn’t even know it. I rarely go to Starbucks for their coffee these days, but I do enjoy their Lemon Pound Cake and a Venti Lite Ice Peach Green Tea Lemonade and a potentially new summer favorite Venti Lite ice Mango Black Tea Lemonade. I gave up Continue reading

If We Were Having Coffee . . .

Well, hello00 and welcome back. I hope you all had a fantabulous week!

If we were having coffee . . .

I’d tell you my bed, bike roller blades, yoga mat, climbing gear, and 32 boxes arrived safe and sound this past Sunday and I have to admit when the guys put my bed together I could barely contain myself. No more counting Serta sheep because well, I had the pleasure of sleeping on my Serta.

If we were having coffee . . .

I’d tell you I have two new loves. The first is my electric blanket, which I bought because I was having some heating issues. The second is Zipcar. I decided not to schlep my 13 year-old car across country and I doubt I’ll have it shipped, so I signed up for a Zipcar membership. Love It! The public transport system is pretty good here. It’s not like DC’s, but Denver’s system is still pretty good. And I still hate taking the the bus. I don’t have enough bus pants. Continue reading

If we were having coffee. . .

I’d tell you that the past four weeks have been really overwhelming. And my head is still spinning.

I’d also tell you that it would be had for me to tell you everything in one sitting, so I’ll sum up.

A little over 4 weeks ago my Office Administrator and I were having a conversation about what 2015 would hold for us. She wants to move back to Atlanta and I told her that I was more than ready to head to Denver (which she’s known for a while now). Continue reading

If we were having coffee, I’d say. . .

How were the holidays? I would also ask your forgiveness because since I’ve been off coffee I’m slightly irritable. I decided to reduce my coffee intake to one cup per day, but then I went all in and quit cold turkey and I’m not particularly happy right now. I’ve walked by Dunkin, Starbucks and Port City Java just to get a whiff.

If we were having coffee a hot beverage, I’d say. . .

It never ceases to amaze me how many really good bloggers are out there. In an effort for me to interact more with my readers Continue reading

If We Were Having Coffee

I haven’t done an, “If we were having coffee. . . in a while and as I was perusing the blogs I follow I came across one and decided to do my own. Thanks Trent for the reminder. The first time I heard of it was over at Just Gene’O and he hosts a weekly “If we were having coffee. . .” Enjoy and join in the conversation.

If we were having coffee, I’d say. . .

When it came down to opening presents my parents used to always say, “it’s better to give than receive.” Poppycock, I’d mumble under my breath and roll my eyes up in my head. Now that I’m older, I still like to receive better than give, but giving is catching up. I like to see the look on people’s faces. And I think this year someone is going to get the surprise Chia Pet.

I’ve been threatening this gift for a while now and the stinker in me has finally bought one and wrapped it up. Now who shall be the unsuspecting victim of the Chia Pet. Continue reading
