I have a feeling that folks don’t want Marilyn Mosby to try the six Baltimore police officers she charged in the death of Freddie Gray.

Could it be they fear she may actually get an indictment and guilty verdict?

-or-

Could it be they lack the confidence in her ability to get the indictment and guilty verdict?

I’d tell you that I didn’t finish the Blogging from A to Z Challenge this year. 😢 I thought I could, but blogging was not primary and perhaps not even tertiary. With moving, trying to get settled and starting a new job the A to Z Challenge didn’t fall at a particular good time for me. So, I figured I’d do my own A to Z Challenge later.

My Hometown 2.8.14

This is my hometown from DC to Baltimore and places in between. Enjoy! 🙂 Any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

I work about a 5 minute walk from the White House and frequently walk down to Layfaette Park for lunch. I do a bit of people watching, look at the ducks wading in the fountain, and run from the squirrels. Contrary to public opinion city squirrels will do their best to take your food. 🙂 Slight exaggeration, but those little buggers are bold.

I love this place. Brookside Gardens in Silver Spring, Md is an awesome place to visit. I come here every year for the Festival of Lights and the Butterfly Garden and for hikes and just plain ole relaxation.

Sculpture in the middle of New York Avenue. The National Museum of Women in the Arts hosts different women sculpture artists exhibits and the exhibit going on now is by Chakaia Booker.

The Baltimore Aquarium, one of my favorite places. Calypso a giant green sea turtle is somewhat of a local celebrity. He had to his left fin amputated due to infection when he was a turtleling (not a word, I know). Calypso’s story. The other pic is of the Inner Harbor. Click on the picture to enlarge it and you’ll see the Domino Sugar factory.
