I haven’t been posting here with any degree of regularity over the past few months. Moving is a lot of work and relocating 1800 miles away from family and friends by yourself is another story. I know people do it every day, but I was so ill-prepared for the move.
Anyway, this post is not about my relocation trials and tribulations. It’s all about the Blogging from A to Z Challenge Theme Reveal. Yup it’s that time again. April 1st ushers in the 2015 Blogging from A to Z Challenge. And this year over 1100 bloggers are taking on the challenge of blogging through their ABCs. I hope you’ll sign up too and join in the blogging fun, but if you don’t have the time, please stop by from time-to-time to cheer us on with your words of encouragement.
So, what’s my theme? I’m recycling my theme from last year: Randomness and Tomfoolery in Progress.
I’ve been racking my brain trying to figure out what this year’s Blogging from A to Z Challenge was going to be about. After thinking about it long and hard and coming up and dismissing a lot of ideas, I remembered how much fun I had writing my randomness and tomfoolery posts, so I thought why not do it again. It’s less restrictive and it gives me a whole lot of creative license. Muhaha.
I might as well kill two birds with one stone in this post. I’m also doing the Blogging from A to Z Challenge on my short story blog – A Short A Day. I’m going to write 26 short stories using song titles as inspiration. I was quite surprised that my iTunes library had all but 6 letters of the alphabet. Some of the songs I selected are a little sappy, so you might get to read some romance stories, which is out of my wheel house. But what would a challenge be like if you didn’t step out of your comfort zone every now and again.
Anyway, I hope to see you back here and A Short A Day throughout the month of April.
Enjoy! Good Luck! And happy blogging! 🙂
It is hard to move, especially that far away from family and familiarity! We moved a lot in my marriage years, but always at least my husband and kids when they lived at home came with me. Good for you for going out there and making the move! Good for you too having 2 blogs in the challenge! Good luck with it!
