So, there’s a little thing going on over at HarsH ReaLiTy called ‘Daily Life In. . .’ I thought what the heck, I’m settling into my apartment, getting used to brand new band of whack-a-doodles at work, and doing a little exploring of my new hometown.
You may be asking what is ‘Daily Life In. . .’ Well, it’s pretty simple. It’s your opportunity to showcase where you’re from. Show us your hometown. Click here for details on how you can participate.
I moved from DC to Denver a month and four days ago. I didn’t and still really don’t have much time for exploring, but what I’ve gotten out to see I’m enjoying.
The first pic I took is from my firm’s lobby.
I snapped this pic one evening while waiting for the bus. I ‘m not sure what the building is, but if I’m not mistaken this is where I hear the hourly bell gongs. It’s pretty cool to hear that, since you don’t come across a working bell tower very often.
This pic is of the Colorado State Capitol, which some of you may have already seen in an earlier post. I snapped this during one of my exploration days after it snowed.
And last but not least is this. This wonderfully random note left on a rooftop.
So, this is what I’ve experienced in my four weeks and four days and there’s more to come. I hope you’ll stay tuned as My Hometown will be back this month. And don’t forget to share your daily life.
I found your blog from the blog challenge. I am from the area too. I am a transplant from MO.. Always nice to meet another Denverite. 🙂

Thanks K. Renae P. My mom seems to think I have an eye for photography, but I just like snapping pictures. The mountains are gorgeous.

I hope you like it here. The snow sucks… but the city is safe and the area is beautiful! 😉

Thanks and so far so good. I will say the snow gets old after a while. This transition has been a long time in the making.
