If We Were Having Coffee. . .

If we were having coffee, I’d say. . .

How were the holidays? I would also ask your forgiveness because since I’ve been off coffee I’m slightly irritable. I decided to reduce my coffee intake to one cup per day, but then I went all in and quit cold turkey and I’m not particularly happy right now. I’ve walked by Dunkin, Starbucks and Port City Java just to get a whiff.

If we were having coffee a hot beverage, I’d say. . .

It never ceases to amaze me how many really good bloggers are out there. In an effort for me to interact more with my readers I’m featuring a blog a week (52 Blogs/52 Weeks). During my search for today’s featured blog, I came across The Fluttering Leaf, Envisioning the American Dream, Lost in China, just to name a few. However, I decided to go with a blogger I already follow for this first pick of the week.

If we were having coffee, I’d ask you . . .

What do you think of some of the recent events in the news?

  • Do you really think North Korea really had the wherewithal to hack Sony?
  • Do you think they were behind the threats to bomb movie theaters that showed The Interview?
  • Do you think the NYPD was in the right or were they being disrespectful when they turned their back on Mayor deBlasio during the funerals of their fellow fallen officers?

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you . . .

I hope you a wonderful 2015 and feel free to join the coffee conversation.

This is a two-fer post. I did it for If We Were Having Coffee hosted over Just Gene’O and for Just Jot It January (JusJoJan) hosted by Linda G Hill.

  1. I went half-caff when I decaffed. Bought both and slowly reduced the caffeine. I was a real addict, and the headaches were just brutal. I sleep better now. (And also, if I get just a bit of caffeine, it actually does stimulate me, whereas before I had no tolerance left!)

    • I probably should have done that, but I can’t turn back now. Fortunately, I didn’t have the headaches, but I had muscle aches. They’re slowly going away.

The train was delayed today and the lady sat next to me with her coffee and I swear I wanted to beat her up for it. It smelled so good.
