52 Weeks / 52 Blogs

I was in church last night ringing in 2015, thinking about my blog and if I would actually blog every day. Then realized I was psyching myself out before 2015 even got here.

‘Just follow the editorial calendar and all should go well,’ I thought. Having sufficiently relieved myself of doubt, I began replotting a course of action to successfully engage those bloggers I follow and that follow me. I also pondered how to engage others that aren’t following me. Then there was an Ah-Ha moment followed by that crazy lady grin. (I think I might have frightened a couple of children sitting next to me.)

So, I began typing a memo as quick as my little thumbs could move, but my brain was data dumping faster than I could type.

Here’s part of the data dump.

52 Weeks / 52 Blogs

It’s not a new concept. I’ve seen it over the years and since one of my 2015 blogging goals is to engage my current audience more and gain a few more followers, I thought this would be a good idea.

Each Sunday I’ll write a post about the chosen blog, why I chose it and if there’s a post that really got my attention I’ll reblog that too.

If there’s a blog (including yours) you’d like me to read let me know by going to the 52 Weeks / 52 Blogs Page.

***Please do not recommend blogs that are pornographic in nature, contain excessive violence, or a racist.

  1. I’ve been thinking about doing something like this as well. I just haven’t figured out all the details yet, but I’m also thinking once a month is more realistic for me.
    Good luck 🙂

  2. I like this idea! I’m also starting a feature in the new year that will involve featuring blogs/posts that caught my attention, but monthly because I can’t commit to weekly just yet. This seems like a manageable way to do so though and to encourage yourself to read more.
