WordPress’ Writing 201: Beyond the Blog Post started Monday and I’m excited and nervous at the same time. I don’t write long posts, and it’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while. I find writing posts that are 1000+ words intimidating, mostly because I don’t want to bore readers to tears and the longer the post gets the less confident I get in my writing and its content.
Anyway our first assignment is ‘The Art of the Interview’, which means I have to interview someone. I see the writing on the proverbial wall – Writing 201 is taking me out of my comfort zone. Everyone needs a good shake up every now and again. Right?
As an introvert and sometimes socially awkward, I typically try to avoid any real contact with other human beings as I find it draining. (If you’re an introvert you know what I’m talking about).
Back to the assignment.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, involves allowing me the privilege to interview you. The interview will be conducted via email or Skype, if you want to see my beautiful face, while answering questions.
