ISIS, or ISIL as some politicians call them, has beheaded four people. Let’s just call it five for the sake of it, since our president hasn’t done anything to save the other beheaded Individuals, including American Steven Sotloff.
Be warned, I don’t like our president or his policies. If you can’t handle that, turn away and read another post. Maybe one about bunnies, or unicorns.
Now before we proceed further not all Muslims are bad. These members of Islam are radical and extremists. Be careful what you say and how you categorize people. Now, ISIS seems to have an issue with the western world,it’s structure and quite frankly dying. Yeah, can’t exactly blame them. Dying isn’t on my to-do list either. However, killing innocent people, simply because of their nationality or religion is quite frankly stupid. What’s even more stupid is the fact that our president is being extremely relaxed with how this situation is handled. How many people have to die before something is truly done? How many terrorists get inside this country before we do something? How many innocent Americans have to die before our president grows a pair of balls and says the hell with political correctness and making people happy?
When does this end? Why does their love of destruction and death still continue to be our poison Mr. President?

Quotes from Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him (570-632 CE):
“Pointing with his hand toward Iraq and saying three times, “Verily, the tribulation will come from there. From there will rise the horn of Satan”
He also said “There will appear in the later day’s men who confuse the world with the religion, deceiving the people in soft skins of sheep, with words sweet as honey, but they will have the heart of a wolf. Allah will say: They want to deceive me? They want to defy me? I swear by Myself, I will send a tribulation upon them that will cripple the most forbearing among them.”
“By the one in whose hand is my soul, a time will surely come to people in which the killer does not know why he has killed and the one killed does not know why he was killed.”
“Verily, tyrannical rulers will come after me and whoever affirms their lies and supports their oppression has nothing to do with me and I have nothing to do with him, and he will not drink with me at the fountain in Paradise. Whoever does not affirm their lies and does not support their oppression is part of me and I am part of him, and he will drink with me at the fountain in Paradise.”
“There will be tribulations during which a sitting person will be better than the one standing. The one standing will be better than the one walking. The one walking will be better than the one running. Whoever exposes himself to these tribulations will be destroyed, so whoever finds a place of protection or refuge should take shelter in it.”
“Woe to the Arabs from the evil which is approaching! He has succeeded who has restrained his hand from fighting.”
Ziyad ibn Labeed reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “There will be a time when knowledge disappears.” I said, “O Messenger of Allah, how can knowledge disappear when we read the Quran and we will teach it to our children until the Day of Resurrection?” The Prophet said, “May your mother be bereft of you, Ziyad! I thought you were the wisest man in Medina. Do not these Jews and Christians read the Torah and the Gospel but they do not act upon what is in them?”

Please explain this further, because I do not understand. Are you agreeing or disagreeing with the actions of ISIS? If so, why? If not, why?
This might sound silly to you, because of what you wrote, but if I quoted my bible it might confuse you as well and I would explain so please do the same. Thank you. 🙂

I’m going to play devil’s advocate here. Having been around during the Carter and Reagan administrations, although no where old enough to vote, I remember the same thing happening. Terrorists beheading American citizens and Reagan plainly said that he would not give in to terrorists threats. Perhaps the reason why a show of force hasn’t been made is more of a ‘we’re not going to give in to terrorists threats’ than the President not having the balls to do something about it.
I don’t particularly care for the President either, but I will say that the whole government right now is an epic fail. Religious extremists that do things in the name of their god really get my dander up, because I don’t know of any god that tells you to kill someone because they don’t believe what you believe or because someone is an American, a Suni, an Israelite, Palestinian, Black or White, Christian, Muslim. And we (no one) should be bullied or terrorized into giving into extremists. And yes we should do something about them, but how do we take them out without taking out the very people we’re trying to save?

Well there comes a point in all honesty where we have to pick who lives and who dies. Sometimes, you can’t save everyone that’s just how war works in the most ugly point. Congress is to blame as well, however the president has been going over them on numerous occasions to do what he feels is best. These limited airstrikes aren’t doing a dang thing but making them angrier. We should have never left Iraq in the first place, and we need boots on the ground now more than ever. Yes it’s another war but think about this. Al Quida during 9/11 had 500,000 dollars. ISIS has 500 million. Imagine the damage that they could do.

I hate that we have to pick and choose because I feel that everyone’s life is important. But I know that most often it’s a necessity that must be done. Like so many others I wish we could just pluck those innocents out and reunite them with their families and destroy those that mean us harm.
You’re right the airstrikes are pissing them off and scattering them like roaches, but then they regroup and when they do they’re stronger and more dangerous; which is scary to me because how are we ever going to defeat a group like ISIS. When I heard how much money they had I was shocked. I remember rewinding the news and playing it over.
I think we (the government and intelligence) have slept and underestimated a lot of these terrorist groups — and not just the current administration, thereby allowing them to grow and have a $5 million cash flow. I have no doubt that we probably should have stayed a while longer to make sure the folks left behind were prepared to tackle the problems they’re now facing and perhaps if we had stayed we would have been able to put an end to the likes of ISIS before they became so powerful. Now we’re playing catch up and who knows when and or if we will.

Oh we will, there’s no doubt about it however there is going to be bloodshed and a lot of it. There more than likely may be an attack here, I mean you see them trying to do public beheadings in London, and the man who beheaded a woman on Oklahoma. They’ve called out Jihad, and all of these radical Muslims are coming out of the woodwork. In order to contain them all we’d have to do what we did in WWII(those camps for Japanese Americans) and that’s not right. Not all Muslims are bad, some are actually quite nice! It’s the point though, how do we know? Kindness could be deception, as stated in the Koran. Oh yes, jihad is spoken of in the Koran, so are beheadings and being deceptive in order to kill, or convert anyone who doesn’t convert to Islam. There’s some tax you can pay too but look how well that went for Christians over in Iraq.
